We’re led by Jonathan and Dominic – two developers who met back in the 1990s and spent the next few decades working on hundreds of different software projects. As we became project leaders, we had opportunities to break out of the dark cave developers hide in, and we learned a few things …

First, projects run better when we bridge the gap between the client and the developer. And second, not all consultants can look at a project from both a technology and a business perspective. So we started Nuvation to provide a service that’s about more than tech.

Our team is a blend of IT, finance and business thinkers, each bringing a unique background to the table.

Jonathan Peters

While working as a software consultant for manufacturing, IT and higher education companies, Jonathan became invested in the smooth delivery of projects. He leads the strategy process to solve your business challenges, and oversees project management and change management. He also has a keen eye for identifying risk and managing it, and is the mastermind behind our agile delivery method. On top of his development qualifications, he is a PMBOK and PRINCE2 certified project manager and Certified Scrum Master, and he holds an AGSM Graduate Certificate in Change Management and a Bachelor of Commerce.

Dominic Eve

Dominic is a maestro at integrating multiple systems, designing them to work seamlessly as one. His skills in software architecture were honed over 30+ years working on projects for leading finance, manufacturing, primary industry, government, higher education and IT companies, in both Australia and the USA. Dominic’s ability to visualise a solution and develop it with precise attention to detail ensures we deliver on your big-picture goals. No matter how complex a project is, Dominic always delivers a smooth user experience, so your team can confidently transition to a new digital ecosystem. Dominic holds a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) from UNSW and qualifications in Supply Chain Management (APICS).

Ruth Peters

As a qualified accountant, Ruth consults our team on accounting processes and works with clients to adapt new finance software. She has spent most of her career working across multiple accounting platforms and supporting teams as they adopt new software. She is our resident Xero Certified Advisor, bringing her depth of expertise into the planning of our software systems. To ensure smooth project delivery and user adoption of Xero, Ruth also works with our clients’ financial teams to schedule the tasks required to prepare for the new system. Ruth holds a Master of Accounting and a Master of Business Administration.
